About my journey
As an accounting student at Penn State University, I am driven by a strong interest in understanding financial data and how it supports business decision-making. My academic experience, combined with hands-on learning, has helped me build a solid foundation in accounting and financial analysis.
I gained real-world experience through my internship with Affiliated Independent Distributors, where I worked with financial data, recorded journal entries, supported accounts receivable and payable processes, and analyzed expense variances. This experience strengthened my understanding of how accounting is applied in a business setting and confirmed my interest in the field.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue developing my skills through future opportunities, including my upcoming internship with PwC. My goal is to build a career in accounting where I can contribute to financial reporting and decision-making while continuing to grow professionally.
